Business Analyst/Marketing Manager
We are seeking an energetic, eager individual who can do a variety of financial and marketing related activities. The Business Analyst/Marketing Manager key focus areas include: compiling and analyzing financial performance data, identify areas of opportunity for improvement, develop recommendations and implement actions for improvements and/or opportunities. Maximize sales and market share through development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies.
The right candidate must possess a dynamic personality, very strong negotiation and leadership skills, and be able to actively create and maintain business relationships with a variety of clients within and outside our industry.
The key focus areas include: compiling and analyzing financial performance data, identify areas of opportunity for improvement, develop recommendations and implement actions for improvements and/or opportunities. Maximize sales and market share through development and implementation of innovative marketing strategies. Responsibilities
* Independently manage client relationships
* Oversee client campaigns
* Proactively bring new ideas and suggestions to clients
* Proactively review upcoming client campaigns
* Represent company at industry events
* Independently solve client problems as they arise
* Act as a resource to team members for client related issues
* Work with management to identify and implement internal process improvement opportunities
* Establish and monitor own revenue projection goals
* Work on special industry research projects, keep abreast of industry best practices, news and trends
* Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, supervisors and colleagues
* Oversee and track billing for current and outstanding client accounts
* Other tasks as assigned by management
* Product performance, performance tracking (lost business/increased business)
* Provide leadership and advanced financial and analytical support manageing a diverse group of clients
Requirements
* MBA
* 2-7 years financial analysis experience within sales and marketing environments
* Strong forecasting and business analysis
* Excel and Windows proficiency with ability to work with multiple data bases
* Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) marketing and financial concepts
* Self-discipline to work well independently
* Strong organizational skills
* Confident communicator and very strong negotiator (utilizing a ’soft-sell’ approach)
* Must be confident and comfortable in a leverage based sales environment
* This position requires a minimum of 2 years of financial analysis and sales experience, with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with high level business executives, senior management and a diversified group of clients.
* Must have the ability to understand and balance business and customer needs to make the correct strategic and financial decisions.
